Many office buildings have security procedures or controlled access. Providing accurate access information helps us complete your deliveries quickly and efficiently.
Do you need a building pass or access card?
If your building requires a pass, fob, access card or security clearance, please let us know before your first delivery so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Can drivers collect a pass from reception?
Yes. If visitor passes are available from reception or security, please let us know and we'll add this to your delivery instructions.
My building has security restrictions. What information do you need?
Please provide as much detail as possible, including:
- Reception or security procedures
- Delivery entrance or loading bay location
- Floor or office number
- Access codes (where appropriate)
- Delivery time restrictions
- A site contact and telephone number
This information will be added to your account to help ensure smooth deliveries.
Can you deliver to secure office buildings?
Yes. We regularly deliver to offices with reception desks, security teams, access-controlled entrances, loading bays and multi-tenant buildings.
What if your driver can't gain access?
If our driver is unable to gain access, they will first attempt to contact your nominated site contact. If access still cannot be obtained, we will try to leave the delivery in a safe and secure location, provided this is appropriate and permitted by your delivery instructions.
If there is no safe place to leave the delivery and access cannot be gained, the delivery may need to be rescheduled.
Can I update my access instructions?
Yes. If your building's access arrangements change, simply contact us and we'll update your account so our drivers have the latest information.
Can you deliver to loading bays?
Yes. If your building has a loading bay or designated delivery entrance, please let us know when setting up your account or if your delivery instructions change.
How can I help ensure deliveries run smoothly?
To help us deliver successfully every time:
- Keep your access instructions up to date.
- Let us know if building security procedures change.
- Provide a site contact who can be reached during delivery hours.
- Tell us if there is a preferred safe place for deliveries if no one is available.
Keeping this information current helps us avoid delays and ensures your deliveries arrive as smoothly as possible.
